We use technology everywhere – from our living rooms to our kitchens to our offices. In fact every time we sit in a car or plane or in any other form of transportation, we make use of technology. Televisions, smart-phones, laptops, aeroplanes, treadmills, fitbits have definitely improved the quality of our lives.
Now as our lives become easier with technological assistance, logically, we should become happier and more peaceful. Yet, we find an inverse correlation between technological advancement and happiness & health. Today, majority of people suffer from some or the other stress related disorder and we find a surge in chronic anger issues as well. People with jealous, irritable, intolerant, indifferent and/or materialistic attitudes surround us wherever we go. Compassion and friendship seem to have disappeared and only selfish and egoistic mindsets remain.
Does it not feel as if humanity has been sucked out of humans?
It is no surprise then that there is a rapid rise in health problems. We find quite a broad spectrum of disorders on the graph – hair loss, acne, eczema, migraines, cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, high cholesterol or even palpitations, type 2 diabetes, auto-immune disorders, strokes, etc.
So many problems! Is there even a solution for such a variety of problems?
Also it’s not like if we do something impractical like renouncing technology, that our health problems will reverse themselves. So what do we do?
On further exploration, we find that the root of our problems is within ourselves – in our attitudes, in the choices we make and in the lifestyles we lead. When the problem is within us, the solution must be within us too. So how do we find the solution to help and cure ourselves?
This is where Spiritual Technology comes to our rescue. Google Dictionary defines technology as ‘the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes’. Spiritual Technology is the practical application of the scientific and spiritual knowledge available in ancient scriptures to help transform ourselves so that we can lead holistic and meaningful lives.
What does this entail?
Within each of us, deep-seated in our consciousness, lies an unlimited yet almost untouched reservoir of pure energy and power. This spiritual energy when unleashed empowers us to become healthier, wiser, more intelligent, better versions of ourselves. Not only does it make us more aware and stronger, both physically and mentally, but it also helps in curing our diseases without the help of medicines, and at the same time guides us to make wiser decisions.
How? You may ask.
In each of our brains lies the hypothalamus. It regulates all our hormonal secretions, which in turn affect all other organs and their functioning. The hypothalamus, is affected by the emotional centre in our brain and what we think, what we eat, our routine – basically everything, affects the emotional centre.
When we tap the source of unlimited energy through spiritual technology, one of the things it helps us do is to develop a wider outlook and see things from perspectives that we didn’t know existed and that increases our tolerance and patience. It also makes us calmer and more positive and this shift in attitude positively affects our emotional centre. Through that our hypothalamus is also positively affected and it starts giving proper signals to all the hormonal glands and the other systems regulated by it. With the restoration of hormonal balance, existing disorders are cured and further illnesses are prevented.
We become stress-free and healthy and happy.
But how do we find the path to unlocking the door of this invisible reservoir?
To our rescue are the ancient canons. The scriptures are a treasure trove, rich in knowledge of philosophy, geography, mathematics, medicine, physics, chemistry and biology, politics, arts, meditation, yoga, sociology, epistemology and what not!
Study and research of the agamas, has presented us with various capsules to help us solve as well as prevent our problems.
